I have a chance to buy one that's in pretty good shape. It's still tight, comes with the original case and two mags. No manual or other paperwork. It shows some slight surface rust on the slide, but it should clean up fine.

I'm thinking of it for a pocket gun, so it has to be 100% reliable since it shoots such a small round.

So, for you Colt experts here, who has or had one? What's good about them and what's not so good? And would you bet your life on one?

I have the Pony PocketLite.

It has been stone reliable. I only worry about being able to find parts should I need them.

In fact I would love a set of Colt factory grips, mine have a crack on one side.

Get it. The value will only go up.

I just went ahead and bought it today. It really, really has been calling my name and I got it for a very fair price. Now I have to cool my heels for ten days for the stinkin' California waiting period. :hairpull:

I have one that I really like. Downside of these is the plastic recoil spring guide. Not if it will break but when. There are aluminum ones available, got mine from John First co. Brownells or Midway have a full length one available.
