The G4 will encompass a full line of steel framed 1911 pistols eventually, but for now, we are starting production with 4 Government sized models with 5" barrels. Eventually we will have Commander, Officer and Micro sized guns as well as lightweight models with aluminum frames.

The first 4 Models are the G4, G4 Custom, G4 Tactical and G4 Target. The specifications are as follows:

Charles Daly G4 - Standard
Bushing barrel setup
Rear slide serrations only
Front and rear sight dovetails, Novak style, Novak cut, 3-dot
FLGR, no tool required for disassembly
Extended left side safety
Hi-rise beavertail grip safety with memory bump
Double diamond black grips with hex head grip screws, blackened stainless
3-hole aluminum trigger shoe with travel stop
Standard slide release
20 LPI checkered steel mainspring housing
Internal extractor
Beveled magwell
Flared & lowered ejection port
No feed ramp on .45ACP
Series 70 type
Comes with 2 – 7 round magazines; carrying case; fired cartridge case for NY and MD

Frame is blackened cast stainless steel
Slide is cut from stainless steel bar stock, blackened
MIM parts are used; list to follow

Finish is polymer based, oven cured

Markings will be very simple and clean. The CD round logo on the left side of the slide, behind the serrations, and a G4 marking on the right side, behind the serrations.

I seen one today and gave it a quick check and didn't fire it but it was a tight pistol and
had good sights on her. I will shoot it later this week lol I will give you my feedback.

You sure it wasn't one of the philippine charles daly's you saw? I don't think they have made any of these yet, these are photoshopped pics of what they will look like. These will say "Made in Israel" on the slide. The ones out there now are made by armscor.
