Mirando is an unusual name. What is the background? Isn't it "looking" in Spanish?

Yes it does mean looking in Spanish but I am German born in Berlin. I am American now and very proud of it. As you can see from my treads I served with the 82nd and wish I was still in today fighting for our country. I see you are in Phoenix. I am in Casa Grande. The rain was nice today, we needed it. I shoot steel every Thursday night at Phoenix Rod and Gun. Would like to meet you there sometime.

Welcome neighbor! I served with the 82nd in the early 70's. Maybe I'll make it down to PR&G some Thursday night and listen for the German accent!

I no longer have an accent. I speak perfect english even thuo they didnt send stuff home in German when I was in school. Just look for the short fat gray haired person and that would be me. I was in the division from 74 to 78. I was in the 2nd/321st. I was a red leg but not a leg.
