I own one stainless 1911 with all Cylinder and Slide in it, I just keep it oiled well, as any 1911 should be .
C&S Parts
What do you guys with SS guns do about the "in-the-white" C&S parts, specifically the hammer. I want to swap out with C&S parts, but I don't want to deal with a rust problem.

Thats all i have ever done also .. i guess we should ask C&S how to finish them as i can't believe they would expect you blue everything
I was wondering the same thing, considering the C&S Tactical II Hammer w/ Tactical Sear for a Stainless gun. Rust sucks so it would be a nosale if it is prone to do so, especially with a carry gun.
C&S insides have not rusted on any of my guns, just like any other pistol keep it oiled and you will not have any problems.
I have had C&S parts in my daily carry S/S Combat Commander for well over a year now and have not had any trace of rust. I just did a detail strip and clean today...
