I have ATI 1911, at the range last week I noticed all my target holes were "Keyholes" a fellow shooter told me my bullets were "tumbling" I was firing my ATI 1911 45 with stock Western 230gr bullets FMJ. has anyone out there had the same experience? any solutions?

I've had the same experience with reloads. The answer was to change the load.

Try slugging the barrel so you know what the barrel diameter actually is. Please forgive the question, but do you mean Wincheter-Western, or some other brand? Never had tumbling problems with any Winchester ammo. Look at the muzzle crown to see if it is worn, dinged, torn-up or has some other problem. Try a different brand of ammo (if you can find any) and see if that helps.
