We all are in the same boat. As a reloader I have seen the price of lead bullets soar. My last purchase of 2,000 200g LSWC's was $130 to my door.

I'm sure all of you have seen by now that a box of 250 Berry's 230 gr RN is $42.99 at Cabelas. All other major caliber bullets are $35.00 and higher too. (Jeez!! That's $48 more than ordering direct from Berry's)

I have been very pleased with Dave's moly coated bullets. $87.11 per 1000 for 200gn RN if you buy the 2250pk or $103.00 per 1000 on the 230gn RN if you buy the 2000pk. Still not cheap as I think I was paying almost half that about 2 years ago for the same bullets but still a good bang for your buck in todays market.

Very consistent in weight and Dave is a great guy to boot. http://www.precisionbullets.com/

For those in the south/southeast & maybe the south west, Call Valiant Bullets in Ala. They don't ship or take credit. Cash/ check only. But they go to a LOT of gunshows and you can pick them up there. They don't have a web. Family owned and run. #256-748-3333. Best prices I've sen. I know prices have gone up, but I paid $31 or $33 per K for 255 lswc in bulk order (5K or larger) add $1-2 per for less than 5K orders. Call and see if they come to a gunshow near you. Tracy

Yeah, I just noticed the 'lead surcharge' that they tack on when you go to checkout. Sheesh! (Still a little cheaper though with the free shipping and all)

The precisions are what I use, bear creek and masterblaster bullets were good also until they shut down. They are poly bullets

Tried to. He doesn't carry them any more (assuming you're talking about the Winchester). He only carries .38 spl and .40 now, probably only until they're gone. He does still have many varieties of Berry's, but prices aren't as good as they were on his Winchester's :frown:
