A Bobtail I feel is a carry gun, no need hopefully to use more then one Mag to solve any problem
I will have to agree with you on that!!! If I am in a situation where I go through a full magazine in my 1911 I am into something way beyond my control!!!

Very True But all of my 1911 Carry Guns have Magwells Except the TRS i havent put one on it yet and the Razorback same reason and the Cbob since ya can..

Some say it makes it harder to conceal but i have no prob with a Magwell and the slampad

Only thing i dont keep the same on all guns is the Grips try to keep the Sights Close and everything else on carry guns anyways

but prefer magwell on everything

Yep, We are making some Bobtail for Folks right now. We have done some in the commander and the fullsize 1911 platforms.
You just have to ask,
And We probably will be adding one
Permanent.....
Thank you,

A Bobtail Officers would be intersting but not sure if it would be possible .. A Normal Bobtail uses Officer Main spring what would you use for springs on a shorter officers Bobtail?
