The biggest I think is stainless won't rust! yet I feel personally if you take care of your pistol it will never rust, keep them lubed and in the safe when not in use.
Baercoat wont rust it is self lubing which means nothing to me but it is the hardest wearing finish next to Hard Chrome at least thats what the finish company claims which is actually Bearcoat
Thanks, I really like the TRS and Premier II line and just starting to research available options.
This is my TRS with Baercoat Pic doesn't do it justice

Sweet looking pistol Bud, seems like every gun company has there own type coating now a days I see.

Ya know it sure seems that area is Gun heaven .. If it wasnt for snakes and Creepy Crawlies and heat i might move there.
Because we can open carry here also was a factor on moving here. I always carry concealed but have many good places and shooters that i learnt from. In the Nationals in IDPA, my friend and fellow shooting partner came in 26th this year Eddie Garcia, I have shot many times with Rob Leatham, and Brian Enos which live in Mesa.
Ahh Rub it in some more about the Area

In my not so humble opinion, it's the strongest finish out there. A buddy of mine used to have an SRP in Bearcoat, carried it DAILY for 2 years and saw NO WEAR. Doesn't get much better than that! Plus, it's made by DuPont, so the same basic formula is used for the finish on a lot of cars and even some equiptment sent into space by NASA. Durable enough for you?

Thanks , I believe it is.......
I like the look of black or dark colored guns better....but I always buy stainless for 1 simple reason...it never wears off. It may scratch easily, it may be shiny, but it is always there. Just my 2 cents worth.
Most of my Guns are stainless for that reason but i wanted to try one with the coating and since i got it used for a great price it worked out well
i got it for a great price
That makes all the difference...a good buy will make me do things I wouldnt normally do as well.
