Hello guys,

I am the first to admit that I am challenged electronically, but for the life of me I can`t figure out how to get an avatar sized photo to upload from photobucket. What might I be doing wrong here? Thanks for any help...I need all I can get:notworthy:

I actually got mine sized down to 12 kb. When I try to upload it I get an invalid file error. :thinking:

I sent it to ya thanks i tried sizing it even smaller in photoshop and it said nothing doing

OK, I made the file smaller but because it's not square it looks so thin. If you wanted to square it off it would be 100 x 100 but then you wouldn't have the flash and everything there.

Irfanview is really easy to use to do this type of thing and it's free. You just set the size (100 x 100 or whatever) and the dpi at x number of pixels at the same time. If you don't change the dpi (pixels) the image will get small but still have too large of a file. I have photoshop, but for this type of sizing I always use irfanview.

Oh, and just upload them to the server from your computer. That's enabled for all users and you don't have to use photobucket.
