Grandones are spending Sat & Sun w/ us. Yesterday afternoon the 8 yr old grandson came in from playing, put in a movie & plopped down in the floor to watch.
With head on a pillow & hands under head he says yuk Papa, my underarms stink.
Me. Well you need a shower before we go to the singing tonight then.
GS. Papa it dont smell that bad.:hairpull:

From about 5 up is when I want them. When they are old enough to ask to go w/ Pappa, they get to.

Grandones...I'll have to say that goes both ways...the fondest memories of my life are of my Grandad. He's been gone since 1997, and I still think of him daily...they don't make them like that anymore...he was born Feb. 14, 1912 and died in August 25 1997...a few miles from home, he went **** hunting by himself (I was working) obviously had stopped to take a nap...and never woke up. Theres only one way to put it...he was one hell of a man. Hard as a rock, yet soft as a ball of cotton.

Grandones???

This appears to be a name for grandchildren.

I am 72 years old and have never heard this term....

I'm guessing Italian, right?

Thanks.

New term for me too Pappy. I knew what he meant, but I've never heard it used before either. I have several Italian friends and have not heard it there??? But, you never know...

Not Itallian. Just a ******* Country boy let a new word come outta the mouth.

In proper English, yes Grandchildren.

I was watching StarWars again last week and they referred to them as 'younglings'!
When I was one, you could call me anything, except late for supper! :biglaugh:
