The new Kimber Catalog shows that the Ultra CDP II will be offered in 9mm this year. I'm excited by this because this pistol has always been my favorite .45 ACP CCW. I like its ergonamics and performance. Anyone else favor the Ultra CDPII?
Nothing wrong with the 45acp...my Ultra CDP 2 is absolutely lovely...and no hiccups at
all...I use it for CCW and have less than 200 rounds through it...would not part with it.
Why bother with a 9mm when the 45acp is so much more gun.
I have both the Ultra Carry and the SIS Ultra. Both are nice. The UC, being lighter, is easier to carry but the SIS Ultra is more pleasant to shoot.
The only negative thing I can say about them is they both throw empties all over the place. My guess is the way the springs are set up - guess only. My SIS Custom puts the empties in a nice neat pile. Oh well.
