40 minor load

anyone have a minor 40 load using 180 grain plated bullets that will work well in my XD in IDPA

I can't remember what the power factor is for minor IDPA but here are some .40 loads I chrono'd when I shot Limited in USPSA. Should help give you a starting point anyway. These are all out of a STI Edge (5").

I usually go 4.2 grns of Titegroup with a 180 grn Montana Gold JHP and a Winchester SP or CCI-500 for primer. Haven't had the chance to check velocity, I would guess 850-900 fps. Great general purpose load, one of my staples. Works flawlessy in my G-23, should do okay in your XD.:shades:
