This one was posted in the "1911's not listed above" thread before we got the STI forum so here it is again. Pistolero or Vic, feel free to delete the one I posted in the other thread.

    STI Trojan in 9mm.

Not exactly a 1911 but STI and a very fun blaster. It's a STI Edge in .40S&W that I used in Limited class. Notice the custom serial #.

    Sure it's a 1911! Just not a purist's 1911. Now the Trojan....purty.

That's the main reason I bought it. It is an "entry level" 1911 from a company known for their high-end 1911s. Yes, rear adjustable Bo-Mar and green fiber optic front. The trigger is all STI sweetness. Breaks crisply right at 4.75 pounds. All stock.

I will post pics after it gets back from Robar (hopefully in 3 weeks) with the new black Alumagrips I have waiting for it!

    My Spartan...

Not my only 1911, but one of my favorites. STI replaced my front sight with a Dawson - I'm very pleased with that sight and their customer service. Hmmm, I wonder how it would look in hard chrome...

An early Eagle 5.1(in 40S&W) and a 2011 frame/slide with Ed Brown and STI internals in 45ACP (full dust cover model)
