Wow looks great
Thanks guys. Basically I bought the Kuhnhausen books and learned a lot from some of the 1911 forums. Brownells has some tutorials that are somewhat helpful as well.
Very nice Hobbes! Slick looking system you've put together there. You think your CO will let you take it with you?
Good job on a great looking pistol!
I almost bought a Rock River years ago when they first started out, been kicking myself ever since.
I agree 100% - if you want a show gun, get a replica. guns are meant to be used and abused.
Love the gun especially the reverse crown Kart barrel and bushing. Great job!
What a way to put it.Love it.He is the man.:notworthy:
Well done. I have been thinking about some ideas for a Caspian build along the lines you have here...a form follows function concept. Thanks for sharing.
Swwweeeeet, Job well DOne.
Looks like some real quality work. Shows a lot of attention to detail.
I hope it shoots as good as it looks for you.
Thanks for the compliments guys!
Is that one of the older Rock River's before they stopped making 1911's for a few years?
Very nice BTW
