Are you sending it back with the hang tag on it?
I would call customer service and be sure to voice my concerns on the repair.

    If it ain't a Colt it's a copy.

Excuse my ignorance but what is a hang tag?
I already called customer service and complained. That's who sent me the call tag so fedex can come and get it again.
    Thanks, Toots

the hang tag is the orange tag you have tied to the trigger guard

I saw the orange hang tag still attached to the trigger guard and wondered if you have reattached it for shipping or shot the pistol with the hang tag still attached.

    UPDATE:

It has been 3 weeks since 2nd ship back to factory and I haven't heard a word from Colt about my New Agent.
They have had the gun 7 weeks out of the 8 weeks I have owned it.
    Not a very happy camper,
    Toni

Whom did you send it too at Colt? You might consider a follow up call to check the status.

Was this issue ever resolved? Did Colt replace the gun? Or fix it?
